Sympathy for the Devil in Cologne

We are all supposed to be feeling pity and outrage for the girls of Cologne. But we are only allowed to be sorry and angry in the right way. The wrong way is to mention that the attackers were a mystery meat conglomeration of basketballs and kebabs. That would be horribly racist of you. And the gothic majesty of Cologne’s High Cathedral of Saints Peter and Mary, home to a 13th century reliquary and site of Catholic Pilgrimage, pelted with fireworks by Muslims, but secular modernity does not care about that. The events of Cologne have been co-opted as a women’s rights issue. Continue reading Sympathy for the Devil in Cologne

The Retreat of the State

The decline of the West is not going to be announced by those in charge, not least because the state garners loyalty and obedience from its citizens by way of its ability to protect them and provide them with various rights and services, or at least having the appearance of being able to do so.

If the state cannot do this, or cannot maintain the facade, citizens will begin to question the benefit of remaining loyal and obedient to an already distrusted Continue reading The Retreat of the State

The Solution We Do Not Want

The natural world is one of balance. When equilibrium is disturbed Nature takes corrective action to restore balance. Le Châtelier’s Principle states that when a system in equilibrium is subjected to a stress, the system will adjust in order to counteract that stress and a new equilibrium is achieved. Le Châtelier was concerned with chemistry, but his principle translates to a wider array of systems. Continue reading The Solution We Do Not Want

Stop Complaining – Life Isn’t Fair

“Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.”
― H.L. Mencken

There’s a lot of cry-baby, defeatist behaviour among the various strands of the right. We are supposed to be the antithesis of the left and their Enlightenment notions. We are warriors. We conquered the world. Yet there are a many among the right who speak and act like victims.

The most abiding lesson my father taught me when I was growing up was that life isn’t fair. He’d tell it to me again and again until I understood. Problems do not go away by themselves. Crying solves nothing. Life isn’t fair. You’re supposed to learn this reactionary nugget of information early on in life. Continue reading Stop Complaining – Life Isn’t Fair

Spanish Mission

This post will be of particular interest to our readers in Spain, of which I know we have many, but should also interest adventurous readers in Europe and those Europeans around the world who may be eyeing a return to their ancient homeland in time for the coming battle. A unique opportunity has arisen for those willing to seize it.

There is an abandoned hamlet called A Barca in the northwestern Spanish province of Galicia. It’s one of many in this part of Spain. Rural Galicia is beautiful, close to the Atlantic Ocean and the border with Portugal. It’s hilly and densely forested and marked by rivers and cliffs and canyons. Real rebel country. It’s also of cultural significance to us as it was once part of the medieval Christian kingdom of Asturias, where Pelagius won the battle of Covadonga and began the Reconquista which drove the Caliphate from Iberia. A New Order, A Call to Arms

A young boy walks across a beach with a fishing rod over his shoulder. Above him at the top of the cliffs a castle looks out over the glittering Mediterranean. He grew up on his father’s stories about the Crusaders who had defended Europe here. Those knights have been gone for centuries but their ghosts still walk the ancient halls. Continue reading A New Order, A Call to Arms

De-Programming Modernism

We revolt against the modern world but we are still contaminated by it. We were born into, educated by it, and must live and work within it to some degree. We recognise modernity as the problem but we are still surrounded by it and allow it space inside our heads. We are still plagued by modern ways of thinking that go against our European ethos. Our inability to solve modern problems is in part due to our inability to think outside of the modern world and the palatable options it presents to us. We need a return to the ancient, noble and heroic instead of the modern and prosaic. Continue reading De-Programming Modernism

Ancient Problem, Ancient Solution

Thousands of Africans, mostly Muslims, almost all of them fighting aged males, are swarming in Calais and trying to breach the railhead and gain entry to England. In response the English look to their politicians and demand that they do something.

They’re confused why a Conservative government is not doing anything. For the ruling classes these Africans represent thousands of cheap workers and consumers. They will continue the de-culturing of the European empire and their dysfunctional African behaviour will be an excuse for a militarised police force and more invasive state surveillance. Continue reading Ancient Problem, Ancient Solution

Conservative, Save Yourself

I don’t criticise democracy or the modern world because I want it to fail. It is destined to fail. I want you to be ready for it. We are on the downward slope and gaining momentum. A democratic solution is impossible. The high point of this age is behind us. The decline has so far been disguised by media, entertainment and technological progress but eventually even that will not be enough to hide it. Empires and civilisations rise and fall and there is nothing special about ours that will save it from the fate of every single empire that has come and gone before us. In front of us is only further decline, starvation, violence, war and chaos until the birth of a new age. Continue reading Conservative, Save Yourself

I Was A Conservative Once

I was a conservative once. But today’s conservatives are no longer conservative. A word has entered the modern lexicon: conservakin. Those who identify as conservative, but who are not. They are conservative in name only, those who conserve only the status quo and the incremental victories of the left, those who ultimately have failed even to conserve conservatism itself. If they cannot even conserve their own principles, then they cannot be trusted to protect us and our civilisation. A newer, more humorous term has also emerged: cuckservative.
